Kēlen
An artistic language with no verbs at all, using a unique relational system instead.
About
Kēlen is a constructed language created by Sylvia Sotomayor, first developed around 2001. Its most radical feature is the complete absence of verbs — instead, Kēlen uses four 'relationals' that describe how nouns relate to each other. This makes it one of the most typologically unusual constructed languages ever created, challenging fundamental assumptions about what a language needs. Kēlen has a rich cultural context with its own mythology, calendar, and writing system. It has won multiple awards in the conlanging community and is often cited as an exemplary artistic conlang.
