Armenian
Armenian, an Indo-European language, is the official language of Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. It has its own unique script, created by Mesrop Mashtots in the 5th century. Armenian has two main dialects, Eastern and Western, with significant differences in pronunciation and grammar. The language has a rich literary tradition dating back to the early Middle Ages.
